Trust us: no property will make it into the Smith & Family hotel collection without a real-life parent giving it the thumbs-up.

Mr & Mrs Smith have been hand-picking and anonymously reviewing the best boutique escapes for a decade now. And as surely as summer follows spring, all those romantic weekends have meant that there are now also a number of mini Smiths to factor into the equation when we travel…

We’ve already appointed a trusty Parent Panel (think of them like the godparents) from our enviable insider address book of stylish and travel-savvy Smith families. These discerning and demanding mummies and daddies will help curate and road-test our new collection of fun family getaways, babymoon-perfect boutique hotels and luxury child-friendly resorts.

We know what we’re looking for from a Smith-calibre family holiday (first-rate facilities, childcare that makes you want to weep with gratitude, proper fun for the whole family AND a decent meal for you at the end of the day), but we’d love to hear from you, too.
